    Join members and friends of ULI Cincinnati for an event hosted by the organization’s Young Leaders Group. The program will include an engaging and insightful panel discussion and guided tour of several Willkommen project assets. This project is an initiative focused on affordable housing, historic preservation, and innovative architecture. The Congress of New Urbanism recognized the project’s unique approach that “simultaneously supports diversity and prevents displacement, spurs economic opportunity, and enhances our architectural heritage” with a Charter Award in 2023. To complement the upcoming CNU 32 conference, this program will offer the opportunity to explore the transformative impact of the project firsthand, engage with key stakeholders, and understand the broader implications for urban infill development and community engagement.

    Lann Field

    Vice President of Development, 3CDC - Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation

    Lann Field joined 3CDC in 2008 as a Development Officer after earning her Masters in Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati. She was subsequently promoted to Senior Development Officer, then spent two years in the role of Development Manager prior to being named Vice President of Development in 2015. In her current role, Field wears many hats, as she is responsible for overseeing aspects of everything from property acquisition and project planning to real estate finance and construction management. During her tenure, Field has overseen or worked on projects totaling $425 million, highlighted by the $73.4MM Mercer Commons project and the $50.5MM Willkommen project. Prior to joining 3CDC, she received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Tennessee, and a diploma in Alternative Design Studies from Archeworks, a multidisciplinary design school in Chicago.

    Jennifer Walke

    Senior Developer, Model Group

    Jennifer Walke joined the Model Group in 2010 where she has been directly responsible for over $250M of development that includes market rate, affordable, shelter, and permanent supportive housing opportunities, as well as neighborhood-scale commercial and office uses. She specializes in Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits, federal and local funding sources, and New Market Tax Credits to bring life to projects that are unable to utilize conventional financing. Jennifer enjoys working closely with non- and for-profit entities towards the historic preservation and new construction of residential and mixed-used developments aimed to enhance the fabric of local communities. Outside the office, Jennifer has served on several local development boards and is an active member of the Ohio Women’s Affordable Housing Network. Jen lives in Cincinnati with her husband and children. Her degrees include a Bachelor of Philosophy from Miami University and a Masters of Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati.

    Chad Burke

    Principal, GBBN Architects

    Chad Burke, AIA, LEED AP is the Mixed-Use market director at GBBN. Overseeing the firm’s Commercial, Multi-Family Residential, Non-Profit and Workplace projects, Chad works closely with developers and workplace clients to design solutions that meet their short-term and long-term needs. His work includes University of Cincinnati’s Digital Futures, Willkommen, Hillrom’s Innovation Center, and the Union Central Trust tower.
