    Join members, partners and friends of ULI Cincinnati for a Real Deal, an engaging and informative program that will offer a deep dive into the recent development of Cincinnati Public Radio’s new headquarters in Evanston. This event will provide a unique opportunity to gain stakeholders’ perspectives on the project’s real estate, financing, design and construction decisions. Participants will also learn the why behind this structure making news as the region’s first mass timber building and what this means from a sustainability perspective. A guided walking tour of the project will follow the panel discussion and be led by the construction team and other members of the panel.  An opportunity for questions will be included following the tour featuring beverages from a favorite neighborhood brewery, Listermann Brewing Company.

    The entire program will take place at Cincinnati Public Radio's new HQ at 2117 Dana Avenue in Evanston. There is plenty of available parking.

    PREPARATION
    • If you have a hard hat or access to one, please bring. A limited number of hard hats will be available on-site.
    • Wear comfortable and worksite appropriate footwear.
    • A waiver will be needed and this will be sent to registrants in advance to save time on-site.

    Richard Eiswerth

    President, GM & CEO, Cincinnati Public Radio

    Cincinnati Public Radio, Inc., is the broadcast license holder for 90.9 WGUC and 91.7 WVXU, (and through a Management Agreement, the operator of 88.5 WMUB in Oxford) serving southwest Ohio, northern Kentucky and eastern Indiana with the finest in classical and Jazz music, news, information, and entertainment programming. As President, General Manager and CEO, Richard Eiswerth leads the stations’ 50 employees in the areas of programming, engineering, development, corporate sales and marketing. During his tenure, Cincinnati Public Radio has increased its membership revenue by more than 500% and underwriting from corporate sponsors by 700%. The stations launched major and planned giving programs and executed capital campaigns and facility renovation and expansion. The WGUC, WVXU and WMUB audiences have grown to record cume (unduplicated audience), time spent listening, market share and loyalty numbers. Richard arranged the transfer of WGUC’s broadcast license from the University of Cincinnati to Cincinnati Public Radio, Inc. In 2003, the station was the first public radio station in Ohio to convert its transmission to digital HD RadioTM technology. That same year, WGUC began offering a full-time Jazz service on its second HD channel. In 2006, WGUC became the first radio station in the country to launch a regular broadcast schedule in 5.1 Surround Sound. In 2008, a study by the SRG, commissioned by CPB, identified WGUC as the top-performing classical music station in the country. Today, WGUC offers three distinct HD RadioTM channels, in addition to multiple online streams and podcasts. He negotiated the purchase of WVXU from Xavier University in 2005. WVXU was converted to HD Radio Technology in 2007. In August of that year, WVXU added woxy.com to its second HD Radio broadcast stream, becoming the first Internet-only station in the nation to convert to broadcast full-time. In March 2009, a management agreement with Miami University brought WMUB-FM under the CPR umbrella. WVXU presently offers two distinct HD RadioTM channels, in addition to online streams and numerous podcasts. Prior to joining Cincinnati Public Radio, Richard was Station Manager of WMNF-FM in Florida, where he also was an adjunct communications professor at the University of Tampa. He also held positions with the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, National Public Radio, West Virginia Public Radio, and WCNY TV and FM in upstate New York.

    Architect, emersion DESIGN LLC

    Adam Luginbill has 25 years of experience predominantly focused on institutional markets that includes higher education, cultural, non-profit, and federal government entities who value the design of high-quality buildings with low life-cycle costs. He actively looks for opportunities to make the best use of a project’s budget and develops solutions that address the most critical needs of the building and its users. Adam seeks to bring sustainable solutions to every project and was the LEED AP for the first LEED Platinum building in Ohio.

    Jeff Chamot

    Director of Development, Neyer Properties, Inc.

    Jeff Chamot has been with Neyer Properties for more than 19 years and is involved in all aspects of real estate development. He manages all of Neyer Properties’ developments including land acquisitions and dispositions, and all major redevelopments. In addition, Jeff leads new development projects from initial due diligence through building completion including design, planning and zoning, permitting and entitlements. Jeff has been involved with the development of urban mixed-use projects, office, medical office, retail, industrial, senior housing, multi-family, hospitality, and residential land development. Additionally, he has been involved with numerous projects that are LEED Gold, LEED Silver, and LEED certified. Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance and entrepreneurship from the University of Cincinnati.
