    Join Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati Young Leaders for an Ohio-wide event, held in Columbus, Ohio on Friday May 3, 2024. ULI Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati are partnering to offer an entire day for young leaders across Ohio and surrounding states to connect and learn about the housing market. This event is open to ULI Young Leaders and fellow young leader professionals (under 35 years). This is a great opportunity to meet and hear from state leaders in the real estate housing market, tour facilities across Columbus, and network with your peers.

    Cost to Attend 
    Early Bird (until March 1) - $100 for members/$150 for non-members 
    Standard (after March) - $125 for members/$175 for non-members 
     
    Fees include a full day of networking and programming, including breakfast, lunch and a happy hour. Ground transportation is not included but groups are encouraged to carpool for additinal networking and sharing opportunities.

    10:45-11:30 am - Tour of Quarry Trails 11:30-12:00 pm - Travel to luncheon program 12:00-2:30 pm - Lunch and additional program (details shared at a later date) 2:30-2:45 pm - Travel to 985 High by Borror 2:45-3:25 pm - Tour of 985 High 985 High is located at the corner of West 2nd Avenue and High Street, featuring 11,000 square feet of retail, 12,000 square feet of class A office space, a 210-space public parking garage, and 105 high-end luxury apartments with top-of-the-line finishes. This mixed-use eight story building is an icon on High Street. This development was a joint venture between Borror, White Castle, and the City of Columbus with several dynamic and impactful features and a unique deal structuring. Participants will tour the development, hear from Borror President, Jeff Fontaine and a panel of stakeholders before enjoying a happy hour on 985 High's rooftop. 3:25-4:10 pm - Presentation detailing the "real deal" at 985 High by Jeff Fontaine, President and CEO, Borror 4:15-5:00 pm - Happy hour on the roof top 5:00 pm - Conclusion

    MK Lindsey is Vice President of Real Estate Development for Crawford Hoying in Columbus, OH. Crawford Hoying has over $2.5B in total development and acquisition assets, including 17 hotels, over 3,000 residential units, and 19 million square feet of commercial space including food halls, restaurants, event centers, and entertainment complexes. MK leads Crawford Hoying’s development pipeline and specializes in large scale, multi-year, complex urban projects that often include public-private partnerships. She assesses new and existing markets for potential development and negotiates with local governments and economic leaders to make deals work. In her role, MK weighs factors such as local leadership, tax climate, planning and zoning regulations, value creation and investment returns, product brand and storytelling, construction costs, commercial and residential leasing opportunities, and partnership potential.
