Are you concerned about the current social and racial climate in our community and our nation? Do you wonder if you have a role to play in making things better? Do you ever wonder what steps your organization might take to improve workplace equity (race, gender, etc.)? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, participating in the Rising Together Series will provide insight and resolutions.
On August 26, Building a Positive Work Culture will take place. How does building a positive workplace culture, especially one that integrates women and people of color, benefit the bottom line? As Mayerson is a thought-leader in how organizations can create great places to learn and work, this session will focus on best practices for building a positive work culture, one that is inclusive to a diverse staff, that results in growth and retention over time.
This session's presenter will be Dr. Jillian Coppley who currently serves as President and CEO of Mayerson Academy. Under her leadership, the Academy has developed strengths-based programs and services for organizations, schools, and neighborhoods that maximize engagement, learning and performance and ultimately transform cultures. The Academy’s work has been featured in EdWeek, Live Happy, and US News and World Report and Dr. Coppley has been invited to share the Academy’s work around the globe. She is an award-winning educator, passionate about the potential of learning to create an increasingly positive future.
This is the fourth of five workshops in the 2021 series designed to answer today's call of building equitable workplaces in the commercial real estate arena through the inclusion and promotion of female and minority leadership positions in the Cincinnati region.
Participants will hear why studies show that the strongest organizations leverage the unique strengths of their people, build great teams around them, and collectively achieve goals at a much higher level than unhealthy work environments. Dr. Coppley will help participants create organizational cultures that expand performance and well-being by activating the character strengths of every individual.
Bring those within your organization who influence your workplace culture with you.
