    ULI Cincinnati is introducing it's Young Leaders Group's Growing Professional Skills Series. The series will bring a relevant and timely topic to our YLG every other month to provide information and experience as professionals navigate the path to a successful career.
    ULI Cincinnati is introducing it's Young Leaders Group's Growing Professional Skills Series. The series will bring a relevant and timely topic to our YLG every other month to provide information and experience as professionals navigate the path to a successful career.

    Navigating business development during these challenging times has never been more important for companies and for those who want to excel in this industry. Nick will discuss business development 101 and the impacts of COVID-19. He will also provide insight on the importance of community involvement and serving on boards and committees and how to get more involved. Participants in this casual conversation will have an opportunity to learn about these topics while networking. Lastly, you will hear about the future of construction due to advancing technologies and labor shortages.

    ABOUT OUR FEATURED YOUNG LEADER

    Nick Hoyng leads Danis Construction’s business development efforts for their Cincinnati market. His focus is on helping define appropriate solutions that address client needs and the complexities of their projects. He keenly understands that strong relationships and carefully selected teams must be built long before a project breaks ground.

    Upon graduating from the University of Cincinnati, Nick joined Danis in the field as a Project Manager for several large corporate and healthcare projects. After completing a new $130M healthcare project, he was promoted to Director of Business Development. In this role, he has helped Danis grow to one of largest general contractors in the region with annual volumes of over $120M.
      
    Nick also volunteers on several community boards and committees in the region including the Cincinnati Zoo, Ronald McDonald House, American Heart Association, Hughes STEM High School, and ULI.
