Bobby Maly serves as Chief Executive Officer and Principal of The Model Group, one of the region’s most respected real estate development, construction, and property management firms dedicated to positively transforming communities. Since joining Model Group in 2004, Bobby has played a pivotal leadership role in shaping the company’s strategic direction and operational success.
With extensive experience leading complex urban development initiatives, Bobby directed the company’s day-to-day operations as Chief Operating Officer and spearheaded Model Property Development for 16 years prior to becoming CEO. Under his leadership, Model Group has executed more than $1 billion in real estate development, including transformative mixed-use and affordable housing projects across Cincinnati, Dayton, and Fort Wayne. His work has been central to revitalization efforts in neighborhoods such as Over-the-Rhine, South Cumminsville, and Walnut Hills.
Bobby’s deep commitment to community building extends beyond real estate. He is active with numerous civic and nonprofit organizations and his leadership, vision, and advocacy for equitable development has earned him recognition throughout the region for his contributions to strengthening neighborhoods and expanding access to quality housing.
Bobby holds a B.A. from Miami University and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Maryland. He lives in Cincinnati with his wife and four children.
