The CEO Coffee Series features an in-depth and informal discussion led by a key industry figure in the community. As the preeminent multi-disciplinary real estate forum in southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky, ULI Cincinnati facilitates and encourages the open exchange of ideas, information and experience among local leaders and policy makers dedicated to creating better places. These members-only discussions are designed to give an intimate group of corporate executives from the greater Cincinnati area the chance to hear from a community-based leader with first-hand experience.
Join us on August 12 from 7:15-8:30 AM for our first CEO Coffee since we began hosting in-person events after Covid. We couldn’t be more excited to host TriVersity Construction’s
Mel Gravely II, a recipient of numerous local awards including the Carl H. Lindner Award for Entrepreneurial and Civic Spirit.
Mel has always said his success as a businessman has been inextricably tied to his contributions to society, which have helped raise awareness of his business ventures, build customer loyalty and dedication among his employees. It's a simple concept that he said he learned from his father, Mel Gravely, who was a city councilman in Canton, Ohio when the junior Gravely was a young man.
"My father insisted I get on my first board of directors for a nonprofit with I was 18, so I joined ABCD (the Association for Better Community Development, Inc.), which is still improving the quality of life for people in Canton to this day.'' Mel's been serving the communities he's lived in ever since, donating his time, talents, energy and resources to various causes.
During this CEO Coffee, members of ULI will get to hear Mel’s story – why he became an investor in TriVersity and how the company became one of the largest commercial construction companies in the region.
Mel’s connection to ArtsWave and how he looks to solve community issues is a core value for both him and his company. During the CEO Coffee, participants will get to hear how he’s gotten much more from the Cincinnati community than he could ever hope to give, which means he should continue to give more and intends to do so.
