Can the addition of affordable housing to Cincinnati's CROWN Urban Trail plan bring unique funding opportunities and eventual completion of the entire trail loop? Join us as our 2021 18 Hour City Series will accelerate the completion of the 34-mile CROWN urban trail loop to improve equity and the development of affordable housing in underserved communities.
Beginning with our January session, we hosted local and national panelists to help think through and publish a recommended strategy and action plan for the CROWN bike and pedestrian urban trail.
In partnership with Tri-State Trails, ULI Cincinnati has hosted a series of six workshops designed to take participants through the acceleration process. We wanted to lead this like a Technical Assistance Panel with a focus on ensuring unfunded stretches of the CROWN are equitably prioritized. Participant expertise has been included in the overall report and each of the resulting recommendations.
Each session so far has featured a moderator with panelists and guest presenters presenting a program designed to provide information, engage and assist in the participants' development of the plan.
